Objective To understand the influenza virus infection of hospitalized patients with severe acute respiratory infection (SARI) in Hefei City. Methods From January to December 2017,throat swabs of SARI cases in Hefei sentinel hospital were collected and Real-time RT-PCR was used to detect influenza virus nucleic acid. Results A total of 333 SARI cases were monitored,254 cases (76.28%) were in pediatrics department.The most cases of SARI were 2-14 years old,accounting for 62.46% of the total cases monitored throughout the year.There were 45 influenza virus nucleic acid positive cases,the positive rate was 13.51%,including 30 positive cases of H3,2 positive cases of H1N1 Influenza A,1 positive case of H7N9,and 12 cases of Influenza B. Conclusion Children cases of severe acute respiratory infection in Hefei City,and influenza virus infection was mainly Influenza A H3.
