Objective To understand the flow and follow-up status of HIV infected people and patients in Zhumadian City. Methods A total of 790 cases who were alive and existing in follow-up status were randomly selected from the basic information database of AIDS prevention and treatment.The questionnaire survey was conducted by AIDS follow-up management staff in each county to understand the current situation of follow-up management and their willingness to accept follow-up management in other places. Results There were 790 HIV / AIDS cases, 96 of which died or lost their visits, 694 HIV / AIDS cases were actually investigated, 589 local non mobile cases, 105 allopatric mobile cases.There were statistically significant differences in the proportion of CD4 detection between local non mobile cases and allopatric mobile cases, the proportion of HIV antibody detection between spouses of single positive families and the proportion of receiving anti-virus treatment (χ²=10.189,P=001;χ²=22.960,P<0.001;χ²=5.395,P=0.02).Among all objects, 418 cases were willing to accept follow-up management service provided by medical institutions in other places, and 276 cases refused to accept free services provided by medical institutions in other places. Conclusion There are some problems in the follow-up management of HIV / AIDS cases in different places, and the reasonable needs of patients have not been solved.
