Objective To investigate the infection status of HIV,syphilis and hepatitis C virus among female sex workers in Macheng City,and to explore the risk behavior characteristics of AIDS. Methods During May to July in 2018,random selecting 400 female sex workers were asked for the knowledge level of AIDS prevention and control and high-risk behavior condom use by a unified questionnaire,and venous blood was drawn to detect the antibodies for HIV,HCV by ELISA,and the antibodies of Syphilis was detected for TPPA with RPR. Results The average age of 400 FSWs was 28,and those unmarried and married accounted for 71.8% and 28.2%respectively,and those from Hubei province and other province accounted for 86.3% and 13.8% respectively.The majorities who had lived in local less than 1 year accounted for 74.5%,and received only junior high school education accounted for 80.0%.The positive for syphilis antibody have three,and accounted for 0.8%,but none of the cases was positive for HIV or HCV antibody.The awareness rate of AIDS related knowledge accounted for 77.5%,and the rate of condom use recently accounted for 98.5%. Conclusion The majority of FSWs were child bearing age and unmarried women,and had low awareness of AIDS prevention knowledge.The presence of syphilis were infected among FSWs.
