Preliminary Study on the Operation of Direct Network Reporting of Infectious Diseases in Wuhu City from 2012 to 2018

Abstract

Objective To analyzes the network report of infectious diseases in Wuhu City from 2012 to 2018 and finds out the problems needing attention, so as to improve the quality of future work. Methods Download and export the data of "National Infectious Disease Report Information Management System" and use descriptive epidemiology method for statistical analysis. Results Wuhu City reported 204,629 infectious disease reporting cards from 2012 to 2018.The number of direct reporting agencies for infectious diseases increased slightly.80.96% of the infectious disease report cards were reported by hospitals.The daily average number of reported infectious diseases on weekends is lower than that on weekdays, and the number of reported infectious diseases on long holidays is lower than that of the preceding and following weeks.The time interval between diagnosis and report was shortened from 14 hours in 2012 to 7 hours in 2014, and the time interval between report and review was shortened from 231 minutes to 75 minutes. Conclusion Wuhu City's direct network reporting of infectious diseases from 2012 to 2018 operated in an orderly manner, and the timeliness from diagnosis to reporting, reporting to auditing was significantly improved.There are "weekend effect" and "long vacation effect" in the reporting time of infectious diseases in hospitals, which should be paid attention to.
