Abstract

Objective To study the antibiotic resistance characteristics of Diarrheagenic Escherichia coli (DEC) isolated from diarrheal patients in Shunyi,Beijing. Methods Fecal samples of diarrhea cases in Shunyi District of Beijing in 2018 were collected,and five kinds of DEC were isolated and identified. Results The prevalence of DEC in diarrhea patients was 10.19%(37/363),and the dominate species was enterotoxigenicE.Coli with the constituent ratio value 59.46% (22/37).The drug resistance rate of DEC from high to low were Ampicillin (62.16%),Naphthoic acid (59.46%),Sulfamethoxazole Tablets (35.14%),Sulfamidoxazole (32.43%),Tetracycline (24.32).Intermediate drug resistance rate of Ampicillin/Sulbactam and Amoxicillin/Clavulanic acid were 48.65% and 24.32%,respectively.The dominant drug resistance spectrum of DEC was NAL + AMP.The antibiotic susceptibility tests indicated that 24.32% (9/37) of the isolates exhibited resistance to three or more types of antibiotic. Conclusion Drug resistance situation of DEC isolated in diarrheal patients is more serious.Levofloxacin and Ciprofloxacin are still the first choice in the treatment of DEC infection.
