Objective To investigate the sanitation status of residents' drinking water sanitation in Hefei City in 2020,and provide scientific basis for improving the quality of rural drinking water. Methods In 2020,according to the Standard Test Methods for Drinking Water (GB/T5750-2006),781 water samples in wet season and dry seasons water samples were collected in Hefei City according to the standard test method for drinking water(GB/T5750-2006),and the results were evaluated according to the Standard for Drinking water(GB 5749-2006). Results In 2020,A total of 781 water samples were monitored in Hefei City,721 were qualified with the qualified rate of 92.3%.The qualified rates of urban and rural water quality were 98.02% and 90.33% respectively,and the difference between them was significant(χ²=12.492,P＜0.001).The qualified rates of water samples in dry season and wet season were 95.92% and 88.69%,respectively,and the difference was statistically significant(χ²=14.388,P＜0.001). Conclusion The quality of drinking water in Hefei City is generally in good condition.The qualified rate of drinking water for rural residents is relatively low,and there is a risk of water-borne infectious diseases.
