Research progress in the epidemiology of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease

Abstract

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) has become a global public health problem.In recent years,more and more attention has been paid to the COPD epidemiology.Due to the differences in human culture,geographical environment,economic factors and other issues in different countries and regions,there are great variances in the epidemiological characteristics of COPD.This article mainly reviews the epidemic characteristics,related risk factors and disease burden of COPD.
