Objective To understand the knowledge,attitude,practice (KAP) and influencing factors for prevention and control of COVID-19 among the residents in Hefei High-tech Industry Development zone,to provide a basis for health education on epidemic prevention and control. Methods A self-designed questionnaire was used,and 4 000 residents were surveyed by a combination of online and face-to-face paper-based questionnaires.Excel 2013 was applied to create the database and SPSS 17.0 software was used for statistical analysis.Descriptive analysis,rank sum test and logistic regression analysis were used to analyze the influencing factors of residents' KAP scores. Results The total score of KAP was 20 points.The residents' KAP scores were generally high,with a median score of 19 and a score rate of 92.89%.The factors influencing residents' KAP included age,gender,household registration,education,vaccination history,workplace and income.Among then,male (OR=1.163,95%CI:1.003-1.347),having vaccination history (OR=2.683,95%CI:1.983-3.629),highly educated (OR=1.635,95%CI:1.527-1.751),local household registration (OR=1.210,95%CI:1.034-1.416),and 20-59 years old (OR=1.635,95%CI:1.527-1.751) had higher KAP scores. Conclusion The residents of Hefei High-tech zone have a high level of KAP for prevention and control of COVID-19,reflecting the effectiveness of the health education work carried out by the relevant departments.
