Evaluation of the treatment outcomes of antiretroviral therapy for HIV-infected children in China

Abstract

HIV-infected children are in a critical period of growth stage,and take longer to receive antiretroviral therapy (ART) than adults,and the impact of treatment failure on quality of life is more serious than that of adults.Despite the achievements in ART for HIV-infected children in China,they are still facing challenges in improving the survival rate and long-term life quality.This paper presents a literature review on the study of the effectiveness research in ART for HIV-infected children in China.
