Abstract

The coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic has brought unprecedented challenges to the world’s economy and healthcare services. The research on infectious disease prediction and early warning based on models has become a hot topic in public health systems.Researchers around the world are using various mathematical, statistical, computational, deep learning methods and models to predict the evolution of COVID-19.This article reviews five commonly used COVID-19 prediction models, providing a scientific basis for subsequent policy-making and COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control.
