Analysis of microbial indicators monitoring results in public places in Hukou County,Jiangxi Province in 2023

Abstract

Objective To analyze the air quality and microbiological indicators of public places and tools in Hukou County,Jiangxi Province,and provide important technical support for local health regulatory authorities. Methods Five types of public places,including hotels,beauty and hair salons,foot bath stores and supermarkets,were monitored according to the Public Place Health Inspection Method (GB/T 18204-2013),and the microorganisms index of these places were evaluated according to the Public Place Health Indicators and Limit Requirements (GB 37488-2019).SPSS 26.0 was used for statistical analysis. Results A total of 2 579 samples were sampled from 362 public places in Hukou County in 2023.The qualified rate of the places was 89.23%,and the qualified rate of the samples was 91.08%.The qualified rates of hotels,beauty salons,hair salons,foot bath stores and supermarkets were 88.42%,94.85%,91.04%,77.36% and 72.73%,respectively (χ2=15.654,P=0.004).The qualified rates of samples were 94.91%,96.05%,95.80%,71.02% and 66.67%,respectively (χ2=276.984,P<0.001).In terms of air and public goods,the qualified rate of air was 95.14%,and the qualified rate of public goods was 90.22%.The qualified rate of total bacteria,staphylococcus aureus,coliform and fungi was 91.08%,100%,99.85% and 70.23%,respectively.(χ2=506.009,P<0.001). Conclusion The sanitation quality of public places in Hukou County is average,and it is necessary to strengthen supervision,improve the disinfection consciousness of public place managers,and improve the environmental sanitation quality of public places.
