Objective To analyze the epidemiological characteristics of pulmonary tuberculosis in Yanling County,Henan Province from 2013 to 2022,and provide basis for tuberculosis prevention and control. Methods The data of pulmonary tuberculosis cases in Yanling County from 2013 to 2022 were collected,and their distribution was described.SPSS 22.0 was used for statistical analysis. Results From 2013 to 2022,a total of 2 622 cases of pulmonary tuberculosis were reported in Yanling County,with an annual reported incidence rate of 47.28/100 000,showing a downward trend year by year(χ2trend=292.266,P<0.001).The highest incidence rate was reported in the 75 year old and above age group (131.47/100 000),and the incidence rate reported by men was higher than that of women(χ2=343.232,P<0.001).The occupation of tuberculosis was mainly farmers (93.55%),followed by students (2.17%),and the source of patients was mainly referrals (1 136 cases,43.33%). Conclusion The tuberculosis epidemic in Yanling County is showing a decreasing trend year by year,and the screening and prevention of key populations should be strengthened.
