Objective To understand the situation of vaccination certificates and supplementation immunization among enrollment in kindergarten or school in Suzhou City from 2016 to 2023,so as to provide a feasible basis for effectively checking children's vaccination certificate,and to improve the vaccination rate for school age children. Methods The data on the vaccination certificates inspection among enrollment in kindergarten or school in Suzhou City from 2016 to 2023 were collected,and statistically analyzed using SPSS 19.0. Results A total of 20 877 kindergartens and schools in Suzhou City carried out the vaccination certificates inspection for enrolled children,with a coverage rate of 100%.A total of 1 257 132 children were inspected,with an inspection rate of 100%.The average certificate holding rate of enrolled children was 99.60%,showing an increasing trend (χ²_trend= 2 792.666,P <0.001).The cumulative number of doses of the eight national immunization programs vaccines for children enrolled in kindergarten and school was 155 231,with a replenishment rate of 98.06%,showing an increasing trend (χ²_trend= 28.058,P <0.001).The top three vaccines with missed doses were meningococcal polysaccharide vaccine (73 839 doses),diphtheria tetanus vaccine (46 266 doses),and poliomyelitis vaccine (25 600 doses),respectively. Conclusion The inspection of vaccination certificates for enrollment in kindergartens and schools in Suzhou City has been carried out well,and the close cooperation between the education department and the healthcare department can improve the efficiency of the inspection work and effectively prevent the occurrence of vaccine related infectious diseases in kindergartens and schools.
