Objective To understand the awareness of prevention and treatment of hepatitis C among medical staff in Huangshan City in 2022,and to provide reference basis for the prevention and treatment of hepatitis C. Methods The cluster sampling method was used to select medical staff from 4 medical institutions in Huangshan City to carry out a survey on the awareness rate of hepatitis C prevention and control knowledge.Logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the influencing factors. Results A total of 402 medical staff were surveyed,with a basic knowledge awareness rate of 91.54% and a professional knowledge awareness rate of 8.71%.There were deficiencies in the knowledge of the clinical characteristics,classification diagnosis,laboratory testing,prevention and treatment of hepatitis C.Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that the awareness rate of basic knowledge among medical staff in general hospitals was higher than that in specialized hospitals(OR=5.110,95%CI:2.425-10.769),and those who received hepatitis C knowledge training in the past year were higher than those who had not received training (OR=2.525,95%CI:1.188-5.368).The awareness rate of professional knowledge of hepatitis C prevention and treatment among medical staff in public hospitals was higher than that in private hospitals (OR=4.693,95%CI:2.867-7.684). Conclusion The awareness rate of medical staff in Huangshan City on the professional knowledge of hepatitis C prevention and control is not high,and special training on hepatitis C prevention and control knowledge for medical staff needs to be carried out continuously.
