Objective To understand the status of pesticide poisoning in Guzhen county in recent years, and explore its pathogenesis and feasible countermeasures. Methods Through the "China disease prevention and control information system", "occupational disease and occupational health information monitoring system", the 2007-2014 annual report of pesticide poisoning report data were imported into Excel and analyzed. Results A total of 2168 people were reported from 2007 to 2014. Among them, 286 were the productive pesticide poisoning, accounting for 13.19% of pesticide poisoning. One person died, and the mortality rate was 0.35%. Male patients were more than females. There were significant seasonal characteristics, and the cases were mainly concentrated in July and August. The incidence of the poisoning was high in 25~45 group and more than 65 years old group. Conclusion Non-productive pesticide poisoning had become the main cause of acute pesticide poisoning and death in Guzhen county. We should take comprehensive preventive measures to control and prevent it.
