Abstract

Objective To investigate the eating behavior problems and influence factors among 0-3 years old infants in Hefei. Methods Cross-sectional survey was conducted. Data included children's sociodemographic feature, the basic situation of families, the children's eating problems and feeding behaviors of children's caregivers. Results The single factor analysis showed that the prevalence rate of eating behavior among 2-3 years infants was higher than that of 1-2 years infants(χ²=14.085,P<0.05).This study showed that the risk factor of eating behavior was boy, the protective factors were: younger, no feeding behavior problem of children's caregivers. Conclusion The family guidance of eating behavior should bee provided by child care workers in the daily working, and the dietary intervention should be carried out to reduce the incidence of children's poor eating behaviors.
