Objective To understand the epidemic characteristics of injuried cases in Feixi county, and provide the scientific prevention and control measures. Methods Injuries data of three sentinel surveillance hospitals in Feixi from 2010 to 2016 were analyzed. Results From 2010 to 2016, a total of 92 268 injuries cases were reported, and mostly in the 25-44 age group(33.77%). Male cases were more than female cases, and the proportion of male and female was 1.75 ∶1. The top three causes of injuries were fall(38.13%), traffic accident(15.77%)and blunt injuries (13.92%). The injuries occurred chiefly on roads or streets(33.08%), at homes (26.01%) and building construction sites (15.91%). Most of them were farmers(35.75%) and enrolled students(13.42%). The injuries peaked between 8 AM and 10 AM in the morning and between 15 PM and 16 PM in the afternoon. Conclusion There was an increase in the incidence of injury cases,and men were the high risk group. Strengthening the propaganda of injury prevention knowledge and raising people's awareness of self-protection were needed.
