Objective To investigate the awareness of TB prevention and control knowledge and policy,and analyze the factors that affect the awareness rate. Methods According to the three core information formulated by the state in 2015 and combined with local conditions, a self-designed questionnaire was used to investigate the awareness rate of tuberculosis-related knowledge among 155 TB prevention and control personnel in all community health service centers/township health centers in various counties and districts of Hefei City. Results The awareness rate of the 3 core information was 80%, of all survey information, the total awareness rate was 83.6%; There was no significant difference in the rate of awareness among people of different genders, ages, titles and different areas,(P> 0.05); However, there are significant differences in the awareness rate between different academic qualifications and working years, (P< 0.05); In the period of 3-5 years, the awareness rate was 87.9%, and the lowest awareness rate was less than 2 years, which was less than 80.4%; All subjects in the community, proportion of the staff in the community engaged in TB control and prevention work less than 2 years was the highest (46.8%), proportion of the staff in villages and towns engaged inTB control and prevention work for more than 10 years was the highest (37.6%);The proportion of male staff who worked for more than 10 years was the highest (accounting for about 37.2%),and the proportion of female staff who worked less than 2 years was the highest (up to 42.6%). Conclusion Awareness rate of TB prevention and control knowledge and policy among grassroots TB prevention workers was low in Hefei. The staff in community and female staff changed frequently, which was not conducive to TB control and prevention and, and would affect service quality for the patients.
