Objective To analyze the incidence and mortality of malignant tumors among residents in Shouxian County from 2013 to 2015, and to understand the impact of malignant tumors on the health of residents. Methods Data on the incidence and mortality of malignant tumors in Shouxian County from 2013 to 2015 were collected and analyzed, and the incidence (mortality) rate of the malignant tumors, the standardized incidence (mortality) rate (bid winning rate) , the incidence (mortality) sequence were analyzed. Results From 2013 to 2015, the incidences of malignant tumors in Shouxian County were 251.47/105, 260.62/105 and 267.56/105, respectively, there was no significant difference in incidence among different years(χ2=3.499,P＞0.05), and the bid winning rates were 213.83/105, 224.51/105 and 234.09/105, respectively. The mortality of malignant tumors were 142.05/105, 138.13/105 and 139.80/105 respectively, there was no significant difference in mortality among different years(χ2=1.100,P＞0.05), and the bid winning rates were 108.89/105, 105.38/105 and 108.20/105 respectively. The incidence and mortality of malignant tumors in males were higher than those in females.Male and female malignant tumors increased with age. Conclusion From 2013 to 2015, there was no significant change in the incidence and mortality of malignant tumors in Shouxian County. Gastric cancer and lung cancer were the main malignant tumors affecting the health of residents in Shouxian County.
