Objective To master the blood status and the incidence of DM in adult residents of Guzhen county. Methods Questionnaire survey and blood monitoring were conducted among residents aged 18 or over in Guzhen County in October 2018 by cross-sectional survey method. Results A total of 616 FPG and 563 2hPG were monitored.22.1% of the population aged 18-44 and 77.9% of the population aged over 45 .NFG was 479, accounting for 77.8%; AFBG was 137, accounting for 22.2%.A total of 343 people had normal blood glucose (60.9%) and 220 people had abnormal blood glucose (39.1%).The proportion of IFG, IGT and DM increased with age, and the proportion of men was higher than that of women (P＜ 0.05).There were 46 self-reported patients (7.5%) and 116 patients (18.8%) (P＜ 0.05). Conclusion The prevalence of DM in Guzhen County is at a high level.Therefore, the monitoring level should be improved, propaganda and testing should be expanded to provide a scientific basis for DM prevention and control measures.
