Objective To explore the influencing factors of regular interview for patients with severe mental disorders in Shaoxing City, and to provide reference for improving regular interview rate. Methods A total of 1 117 patients with severe mental disorders in Shaoxing City were randomly sampled from the Zhejiang Provincial Severe Serious Mental Disorder Information System by systematic sampling, and interviewed.Logistic regression analysis was used to explore the influencing factors of regular interviews. Results There were 1 117 patients in this study, including 517 males and 600 females.Regular interview rate was 53.8%.Logistic analysis showed that age (OR= 0.986, 95%CI: 0.975-0.996),religion (OR=1.572,95%CI:1.083-2.281),economic status (OR=0.615, 95%CI:0.426-0.888),medication (OR=0.149,95%CI:0.052-0.429) and disease types (schizoaffective disorder OR=3.417,95%CI: 1.838~6.352),paranoid psychosis OR=3.822,95%CI:1.540-9.484,bipolar disorder OR=3.593,95%CI:1.421-9.087,epilepsy-induced mental disorder OR=3.657,95%CI:1.766-7.572) were the influencing factors of regular interviews for patients with severe mental disorders. Conclusion Religious beliefs and non-schizophrenia can improve the rate of regular interviews, while age, economy and medication drug treatment can reduce the rate of regular interviews.Therefore, targeted measures should be taken to improve the rate of regular interviews.
