On November 11, 2025, the founding meeting of the Fifth Editorial Board of Anhui Journal of Preventive Medicine was held in Hefei. Nearly 60 experts and scholars from universities, research institutes and disease control systems across the country attended the event.

The meeting summarized the main work carried out since the Fourth Editorial Board was established, analyzed the problems and challenges the journal currently faces, and outlined prospects for its future development. An introduction was given regarding the preparation and composition of the Fifth Editorial Board, and letters of appointment were presented to the editorial board members in attendance. During the discussion session, the experts present freely exchanged views on the latest trends and requirements in our public health development and scientific and technical journal publishing. They also held in-depth discussions on journal development measures and academic hotspot planning.

This meeting marks a new phase of development for Anhui Journal of Preventive Medicine. We will consolidate our work and steadily enhance the quality of the journal.
